Hypnotherapy for weight control is not about dieting or gyms...

All living things want to survive. Our subconscious wants us to live the longest we can, which means that our bodies would want to be a natural, healthy weight. But somewhere along the line our minds have become mis-programmed. Eating, and the emotional reasons behind consuming calories in excess, is personal to each individual.  However, there can be in addition, practical and behavioural habits towards eating that can be addressed in hypnosis.


Many overweight people have difficulty reaching their ideal weight due to believing they have no self- control, mostly due to the rocky “Yo-yo” dieting. Our diet industry tells us we are weak - too weak to diet. Most diets are unrealistic and involve some alternative way to “eating normally” - buying into the dynamic that we are not slim enough to eat like ordinary people. When we buy a product and it doesn’t work we return it and ask for our money back….when we buy a diet and it doesn’t work we say there’s something wrong with ME. The diet industry is a multi million pound industry…. would it be if it worked?
